ADE 2026 & Dance Music News: Lineups, Festivals & New Tracks – Billboard

March 14, 2026 Laura Fontaine - Entertainment Editor Entertainment

This week in dance music brings a flurry of announcements and festival lineups, signaling a busy season ahead. From a landmark performance at Amsterdam Dance Event to a historic superjam in Florida, and a slew of festival appearances, the electronic music landscape is heating up. Plus, a major label acquisition and the unveiling of IDMA nominees add to the industry buzz.

Jean-Michel Jarre to Open ADE 2026 with Immersive Experience

Electronic music pioneer Jean-Michel Jarre will kick off the 30th anniversary of Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) with an exclusive performance at AFAS Live on October 21, 2026. The concert, titled ‘Oxygène & Beyond: A Sonic Journey Celebrating 30 Years of ADE,’ is presented by MOJO and Insomniac and promises a venue-scale immersive experience featuring stage mapping, large projections, and elaborate lighting architecture. AFAS Live confirmed the details earlier this week.

Jarre’s performance isn’t just a celebration of ADE’s milestone; it as well marks the 50th anniversary of his iconic album, Oxygène. The album, released in 1976, sold millions of copies worldwide and remains a cornerstone of electronic music. As Jarre himself stated, “Electronic music, like ADE, has history, heritage, and a future.” He intends to create a dynamic show, moving between tracks with evolving atmospheres and visuals, aiming for an experience that resonates long after the music stops. EDM Tunes reports that Jarre will also participate in an exclusive ADE Pro keynote and other appearances during the event.

LP Giobbi to Lead Historic Okeechobee Superjam

LP Giobbi is set to make history as the first woman to lead the superjam at Florida’s Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival. Joining her on stage will be Rick Mitarotonda of Goose, Dominic Lalli of Huge Gigantic, Aron Magner of The Disco Biscuits, and a host of other surprise guests. This collaboration underscores Giobbi’s growing influence in the dance music scene and represents a significant moment for female representation in a traditionally male-dominated space. Billboard detailed the announcement, highlighting the significance of Giobbi’s role.

Festival Lineups Expand and Evolve

Beyond Okeechobee, the festival circuit is buzzing with activity. Chicago’s ARC Music Festival is expanding to four days in 2026, boasting a lineup that includes Sara Landry, The Blessed Madonna, Michael Bibi, and Chris Stussy. The Desert Nights 2026 parties, surrounding the Coachella weekends, will feature a stellar roster of artists including Green Velvet, Afrojack, Pawsa, and David Guetta. And Goldenvoice is introducing Head Trip, a one-time festival coinciding with Coachella in October, with a lineup featuring Skrillex, Swedish House Mafia, Calvin Harris, Peggy Gou b2b Four Tet, and more. We Belong Here’s Brooklyn edition in June will showcase Above & Beyond and Oliver Heldens, among others.

Industry Moves and Fresh Music

In industry news, Ninja Tune has been acquired by Concord, adding the label’s iconic catalog and publishing arm to Concord’s operation. The nominees for the 2026 International Dance Music Awards (IDMAs) have also been revealed. Illenium’s agent, Guy Oldaker, recently discussed the producer’s current residency at Sphere, highlighting the innovative technology and immersive experience offered at the venue.

The Week’s Best New Dance Tracks

Kenya Grace, “Naked”

British artist Kenya Grace continues to push boundaries with her latest single, “Naked.” Following the success of her history-making track “Strangers” – the first Hot Dance/Electronic Songs No. 1 solely written, produced, and sung by a woman – Grace took time for introspection, resulting in this vulnerable exploration of loveless hookups and emotional emptiness. The track pairs liquid drum n bass with honest lyrics, offering a compelling glimpse into Grace’s artistic evolution. Listen to “Naked” here.

Claude VonStroke, “Static In The Deep End”

Claude VonStroke’s lead single from his forthcoming album Wrong Number, “Static In The Deep End,” delivers a pulsing and darkly sinewy soundscape. The track, characterized by crisp percussion and an insistent kick, is designed for the after-hours, showcasing VonStroke’s signature style. The album, his first since selling his Dirtybird label in 2022, is a family affair, featuring vocals from his son, wife, and daughter. “Static In The Deep End” is available here.

Jaguar, “Gimme Dat”

UK producer Jaguar’s new track, “Gimme Dat,” draws inspiration from the early aughts video game The Urbz: Sims in the City, weaving in elements of Detroit electro and Y2K sounds. The result is a slickly propulsive heater that’s sure to ignite dance floors. Jaguar is currently preparing for a U.S. Tour starting in June. Listen to “Gimme Dat” here.

Azzeca & House Of Molly, “Love On Me”

Ahead of her Coachella set, Azzeca drops “Love On Me,” a collaboration with London duo House Of Molly. The track is an acid-ey, ‘90s-inspired club anthem that celebrates the energy and allure of nightlife. Azzeca describes the song as a celebration of “that seductive, fabulous world good nightlife can be.” “Love On Me” is out now on Factory 93 Records and can be heard here.

Manila Killa, “I Wanna”

Manila Killa returns to his drum & bass roots with “I Wanna,” a hyper and energetic track that showcases his versatility. The producer expressed his excitement about revisiting the genre, stating that it “activates” him when he hears it in the wild. “I Wanna” is available on Boom Records and can be streamed here.

Looking ahead, the coming months promise a packed schedule of releases, festivals, and performances. With ADE 2026 on the horizon and a wave of new music hitting the airwaves, the dance music scene is poised for a vibrant and dynamic year.
