Jungle Announces ‘Sunshine’ Album & 2024-2027 World Tour Dates

Jungle Announces ‘Sunshine’ Album & 2024-2027 World Tour Dates

March 25, 2026 Laura Fontaine - Entertainment Editor Entertainment

U.K. Collective Jungle is gearing up for the August 14th release of their modern album, Sunshine, via AWAL. The announcement comes with the release of the single “Carry On,” a soulful track hinting at the vibrant energy fans have reach to expect from the group. This follows their critically acclaimed 2023 album, Volcano, which marked a career high for the band.

From BRIT Award Recognition to a New Sonic Landscape

Jungle’s momentum has been building steadily. Volcano not only achieved a No. 3 peak on the Official U.K. Albums Chart, but also earned them the coveted Group of the Year trophy at the 2024 BRIT Awards. Footage of their win showcases the excitement surrounding the group’s unique blend of funk, soul, and electronic music. The band, comprised of Josh Lloyd-Watson, Tom McFarland, and vocalist Lydia Kitto, has cultivated a dedicated following through their immersive live performances and consistently innovative sound.

The group’s success at the 2024 BRIT Awards, hosted by Clara Amfo, Maya Jama, and Roman Kemp, was particularly notable in a year that saw Raye dominate with a record-breaking six wins, as reported by the BBC. Jungle’s victory underscored their growing influence within the British music scene.

Tour Dates Span the Globe

Supporting the release of Sunshine, Jungle has announced an extensive world tour kicking off on September 9th in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and concluding on November 28th in Glasgow, Scotland. The tour encompasses a diverse range of venues, from arenas like the Barclays Center in New York City and the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, to more intimate settings like the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Denver and the Santa Barbara Bowl. Tickets go on general sale this Friday, March 27th, via the band’s official website.

The tour schedule also includes a significant run of dates in Europe, beginning in Lisbon, Portugal, on October 24th, and concluding in Brussels, Belgium, on November 3rd. A final leg of Australian shows is scheduled for March 2027, with performances in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth.

A Shift in Brit Award Categories and Raye’s Record-Breaking Year

The 2024 BRIT Awards, as detailed on Wikipedia, saw some structural changes, including an increase in nominees for British and International Artist of the Year (from five to ten) and the splitting of the British Pop/R&B Act category into British Pop Act and British R&B Act. These changes reflect a broader effort to recognize a wider range of talent within the British music industry.

Raye’s unprecedented seven nominations and six wins at the 2024 awards set a new benchmark for artist recognition. While Jungle’s win for Group of the Year highlighted collective achievement, Raye’s success underscored the growing prominence of individual artists in a rapidly evolving music landscape.

What’s Next for Jungle

With the release of Sunshine on the horizon and a comprehensive tour schedule in place, Jungle is poised to continue its upward trajectory. The band’s ability to blend genres and create immersive sonic experiences has resonated with audiences worldwide. The Australian leg of the tour, scheduled for March 2027, suggests a long-term commitment to engaging with fans across the globe. The band has not yet revealed details regarding potential collaborations or additional singles beyond “Carry On,” leaving fans anticipating further developments in the coming months.

The tour dates themselves offer a glimpse into the band’s strategic approach to reaching diverse audiences. The mix of arena and theater venues suggests a desire to cater to both large-scale crowds and more intimate settings, allowing for a more personalized concert experience. The extended timeframe of the tour, spanning from September 2026 to November 2026, indicates a significant investment in live performance as a key component of their overall artistic vision.
