Netflix Adapts “Powers” Comic into Adult Animated Series

Netflix is adding another adult animated series to its growing roster, this time adapting the critically acclaimed comic book series Powers. The project, created by Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming, blends the superhero genre with the gritty realism of police procedural dramas.

A live-action adaptation previously aired for two seasons on the PlayStation Network in the mid-2010s, starring Sharlto Copley and Susan Heyward.
