Aziz Guerra, 20, from El Paso, Texas, captivated Adam Levine with his Spanish-language performance of José José’s “El Triste,” landing a spot on Team Adam.

Not every audition resulted in a chair turn. Mariette Gevorgian, 15, from Burbank, California, delivered a heartfelt performance of Demi Lovato’s “Anyone” but didn’t receive any turns, while Daniel Sovich, 28, from Aurora, Ohio, also didn’t secure a spot after singing Billy Joel’s “Just the Way You Are.”

A Season of Returning Faces and New Twists

Season 29 of The Voice, dubbed “The Voice: Battle of Champions,” is already underway with a unique format.
