León: Woman Found Dead, Suspected Feminicide – Boyfriend on the Run
León, Guanajuato – The death of Madeline, a 21-year-old woman found with signs of violence in her home in the Nuevo Amanecer neighborhood, is being investigated as a potential feminicide. Authorities are focusing on her 17-year-old boyfriend as a person of interest in the case.
According to reports, family members discovered Madeline unconscious at her residence on Sunday evening after being unable to reach her. Initial findings suggest she may have been strangled, though the official cause of death remains to be determined by forensic analysis. The boyfriend was reportedly not present at the scene and has not yet been apprehended.
The incident was reported around 8:24 PM on Sunday, March 15th, at a home located on the corner of Calle de la Postura and Calle Del Renacimiento.
A Daughter Left Behind
Neighbors indicated that Madeline lived at the home with her 17-year-old boyfriend and a four-year-old daughter. Details regarding the daughter’s parentage were not provided, but reports indicate she is not the biological child of the suspect.
Family members found Madeline unconscious, prompting an immediate call to emergency services. Paramedics arrived but were unable to revive her.
Investigation Underway

The body has been transferred to the Forensic Medical Service (SEMEFO) for a full autopsy to determine the precise cause and manner of death.
