Drone Attacks Target Russian Oil Refinery and Western Regions
Ukrainian drones caused a fire at an oil refinery near the village of Novominskaya in southern Russia, and attacks in Russia’s Kursk region, in the west, killed two people and injured seven others, Russian authorities stated. The refinery, identified as Albašnefť, has been operational since 2010 and is capable of processing up to 320,000 tons of oil annually, producing gasoline, diesel fuel, and fuel oil. The facility, located approximately 250 kilometers from the front lines, was also targeted by Ukrainian drones last year.

Damage to Infrastructure in Dnipro and Railway Disruptions
A Russian attack on Dnipro, in southeastern Ukraine, injured one person and damaged transport infrastructure, according to Oleksandr Hanža, head of the regional administration. Elsewhere in the Dnipropetrovsk region, drones struck a railway station, injuring a train driver, reported Deputy Prime Minister Oleksiy Kuleba. Despite the attacks, Kuleba emphasized that trains continued to operate according to schedule, highlighting the resilience of Ukraine’s transportation network.
Russian Air Defenses Claimed 97 Drone Interceptions
The Russian Ministry of Defense announced the destruction of 97 Ukrainian drones overnight, including four over the Krasnodar Krai. The ministry did not disclose the total number of attacking drones or the extent of any damage caused.
Ukraine Reports Missile and Drone Attacks
Ukraine’s air force reported that Russia launched one Iskander-M missile and 105 drones overnight.
