PSG 2025-26 Night Edition Kit: Inspired by Paris Nightlife | Design & Details

PSG 2025-26 Night Edition Kit: Inspired by Paris Nightlife | Design & Details

March 9, 2026 Carlos Moreno - Sports Editor Sports

Paris Saint-Germain’s already extensive kit collection for the 2025-26 season has grown once more with the unveiling of a fifth jersey, dubbed the “Night Edition.” The reigning Champions League holders have consistently pushed the boundaries of kit design in recent years and this latest offering, a collaboration with Jordan Brand, is no exception.

The new shirt is a striking departure from traditional designs, drawing inspiration from the vibrant nightlife of Paris. According to the club, the jersey aims to capture the “hustle and bustle” and shimmering lights that define the city after dark. The base of the kit is an inky black, overlaid with swirling patterns and ripples of color intended to mimic the trails of car lights, neon signs, and street lamps.

Logos on the “Night Edition” jersey feature a silver foil effect, adding to the overall aesthetic of a city illuminated at night. The design’s inspiration stems from the panoramic views of the Eiffel Tower offered from the Place du Trocadero. PSG utilized timelapse footage captured at the Trocadero using a 360-degree camera, digitally distorting the images to create the abstract, light-streaked graphics that adorn the shirt.

This isn’t simply a one-off jersey; the PSG x Jordan collaboration extends to a full range of streetwear and apparel. Fans can purchase matching track tops and pants, t-shirts, baseball caps, and even a wrap-around skirt to complete the look. The club has turn into known for these comprehensive releases alongside their special edition kits.

It remains to be seen whether PSG will debut the “Night Edition” kit when they host Chelsea in the first leg of their Champions League round-of-16 tie on Wednesday evening. Although, the timing would be fitting, given the jersey’s inspiration from the Parisian nightscape.

The “Night Edition” jersey marks the 15th distinct kit offering from PSG’s partnership with Jordan Brand, which began in the 2018-19 season. The collaboration has yielded a series of memorable – and sometimes controversial – designs, showcasing a willingness to experiment and push creative boundaries.

Looking back at some of the previous Jordan-branded kits reveals a pattern of bold choices. The 2020-21 third kit, for example, was a jarring combination of neon pink and “psychic purple,” widely criticized for its garish appearance. In contrast, the 2024-25 third kit, dubbed “La Vie en Rose,” was a more subdued and elegant design, paying tribute to the iconic French singer Edith Piaf with muted pink tones.

The 2021-22 home kit was a landmark moment, being the first to feature the Jordan Jumpman logo on a PSG home shirt, replacing the traditional Nike swoosh. The accompanying shorts were particularly noteworthy, modeled with oversized side panels reminiscent of basketball shorts, further emphasizing the collaboration’s roots.

More recently, the 2023-24 fourth kit drew inspiration from Jordan’s iconic elephant hide print, adorning the jersey with a burnished gold and camo-style graphics. Another 2023-24 fourth kit offered a sleek black design with tonal logos and a reimagining of PSG’s Hechter stripe in the French tricolore, earning praise for its understated coolness.

PSG’s willingness to embrace unconventional designs through its partnership with Jordan has undoubtedly generated significant attention and commercial success. Even as not every kit has been universally lauded, the collaboration has established PSG as a fashion-forward club, unafraid to take risks and experiment with its on-field apparel. The “Night Edition” jersey continues this trend, offering a visually striking and conceptually interesting addition to the club’s already impressive kit collection.

Fans can identify the new kit and accompanying apparel at the PSG Online Store, alongside other official merchandise celebrating the club’s historic 2025 UEFA Champions League victory.
