iQOO Z11 & Z11x Launched: Specs, Price & Features

iQOO Z11 & Z11x Launched: Specs, Price & Features

March 26, 2026 Sarah Wu - Tech Editor Tech and Science

iQOO has launched two latest smartphones in China, the Z11 and Z11x, both boasting substantial battery capacities and robust build quality. The devices share a common thread of large batteries, MediaTek chipsets, 50-megapixel main cameras, and IP69-level ingress protection – a notable feature for dust and water resistance. These additions to the iQOO Z-series aim to deliver extended usage times and durability, catering to users who prioritize longevity and resilience in their mobile devices.

Display and Performance of the iQOO Z11

The iQOO Z11 features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution (2800 x 1260) and a remarkably fast 165Hz refresh rate. This is, according to iQOO, the highest refresh rate ever offered on one of their devices. The display too supports a peak brightness of 2000 nits. Powering the Z11 is the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. An optical under-display fingerprint sensor adds a layer of security and convenience. The front-facing camera is a 16-megapixel sensor.

Massive Battery and Charging Capabilities

Perhaps the most striking feature of the iQOO Z11 is its massive 9050 mAh silicon-carbon (Si-C) battery. IQOO claims this battery can provide up to 28 hours of video playback. The device supports 90W wired fast charging, allowing for quick power replenishment. Notably, the Z11 can also function as a power bank, charging other devices via a wired connection. This dual functionality positions the Z11 as a versatile power solution for users on the proceed.

Camera System and Software

The rear camera setup on the iQOO Z11 consists of a 50-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an f/1.8 aperture, alongside a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The phone runs OriginOS 6, based on Android 16, and incorporates AI-backed features to enhance the user experience. The Z11 is available in blue, white, and black color options.

iQOO Z11x: A More Accessible Option

The iQOO Z11x is positioned as a more affordable alternative, building upon the foundation of a previously released model in India. Even as sharing some similarities with the Z11, it also features key differences. The Z11x sports a 6.76-inch LCD display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It’s powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset and comes with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The front camera is an 8-megapixel sensor.

The Z11x also includes enhanced Wi-Fi 6 capabilities, NFC, and an infrared remote control – features not found on the standard Z11. Like its counterpart, the Z11x runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 and is available in black, green, and white.

Pricing and Availability

The iQOO Z11 is priced starting at 1999 yuan (approximately $277 USD or 97,000 Hungarian Forint) for the base configuration, while the top-end model with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage costs 3199 yuan (approximately $443 USD or 155,000 Hungarian Forint). The iQOO Z11x starts at 1499 yuan (approximately $207 USD or 73,000 Hungarian Forint) for the 8GB/256GB variant, with the 12GB/512GB model priced at 2199 yuan (approximately $304 USD or 106,000 Hungarian Forint). These prices are specific to the Chinese market, and international availability remains unconfirmed. GSM Arena provides further details on the launch.

Battery Technology and Performance Considerations

The employ of a silicon-carbon (Si-C) battery in the iQOO Z11 is a significant development. Si-C batteries offer higher energy density compared to traditional lithium-ion batteries, allowing for larger capacities in a similar form factor. However, Si-C technology is relatively new, and long-term performance and degradation characteristics are still under investigation. iQOO’s India website highlights performance comparisons with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, but specific details regarding battery longevity are not yet widely available.

What Comes Next for iQOO

Following the launch in China, the next step for iQOO will likely involve assessing market response and gathering user feedback. Further testing and analysis of the Si-C battery technology will be crucial to understand its long-term reliability and potential for wider adoption. The company may also consider expanding the availability of the Z11 and Z11x to other markets, depending on demand and regulatory approvals. The success of these models could influence iQOO’s future product development strategy, potentially leading to more devices featuring large-capacity batteries and innovative charging solutions.
