About List Directory

List Directory is an independent directory of licensed professionals and registered care services. Every profile is copied from an official public register, and the reviews on it come from people who used the practice, clinic or care home.

What is in the directory

• Australia: financial advisers on ASIC's Financial Advisers Register, and tax and BAS agents registered with the Tax Practitioners Board.
• United Kingdom: GP and dental practices, care homes, home care and clinics registered with the Care Quality Commission in England, with their CQC ratings.
• Canada: contractors, electricians and plumbers holding an active licence in Quebec.
• United States: child care centers, residential care for the elderly and home care organizations licensed by the California Department of Social Services.
• New Zealand: rest homes, private and public hospitals and fertility clinics certified by the Ministry of Health – Manatū Hauora.

How we work

We take the facts on each page from the register itself: names, licence or certificate details, addresses, ratings and dates, with a link back to the regulator. We do not add opinions of our own, and we leave out records that a register marks as banned, suspended or cancelled. Software helps us turn register data into short, readable profile text; every sentence comes from a field in the register. How we build profiles explains the process in more detail.

Reviews

Anyone who has used a listed practice can rate it and describe their experience. Reviews appear straight away after an automatic spam check, and we never import or buy reviews. Read the review guidelines.

If a profile is out of date, or you are listed and want your page removed, send us a request. You can also write to us at office@list-directory.com.
