He expressed concerns about growing debt and a lack of focus on the club’s long-term financial sustainability, suggesting the current leadership operates more for “clients” than for the benefit of the members.

The Pavilhão João Rocha itself is a modern, multi-sport arena with a capacity of 3,000, serving as the home venue for Sporting CP’s basketball, futsal, handball, roller hockey, and volleyball teams. The construction of the arena, which cost €9.621.557, was funded through the “Missão Pavilhão” project, a fundraising initiative aimed at mobilizing the club’s supporters.
